| Quote: | | Dr Ute Stock specialises in Russian literature. And shoes. Not necessarily in that order. She is also the long-suffering wife of Mike Senior,SOS Reviews Editor and music maniac. |
She has written a cute article about how to cope with having a home studio in the living room
She says this about the Behringer V-amp:
| Quote: | | I like it for two, very simple reasons: it's got an interesting shape — curvy rather than square — and it's blue. This means it matches our curtains and the throw on the sofa. |

“Live doesn’t get enough credit for its effects!” Talbot tells Ableton by phone from her Los Angeles-based studio. “I have found so many incredible new sounds by running multiple layers of my vocal harmonies and adlibs through Live’s Filter and Grain Delay effects.” She calls this treatment “vocal morphing” and credits it to many a successful composition and creative sound design. Talbot says of Live’s effects, “much to my husband’s annoyance, they keep me up all night.”
