But the idea is that I have made 15 self playing patches [00 to 14], that I have three wren players [1 to 3] running and that i will load patches and fade them in and out to create a soundscape.
Like slides in a slide show.
Laterna magica.
The poster image is from a slide show I once made. It had two projectors to be able to fade from one slide to the other, and the slides were painted on with felt tip pens.
This one seemed appropriate
I've copied this one BTW by holding the slide against a white page on the tablet and then photographing it with the phone - to later cut it out and enlarge - good enough for transferring ideas
I've used those in some of the patches - and on the poster.
I've watched 'the seventh seal' [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpKrvkussjw ] and 'cries and whispers' [ it was on youtube, impossibly lip-synced from swedish to english subtitles, but could not find it right now ] - to get into the mood a bit ... not a .. or .. maybe more like realistic black .. or that is what I got from it.
I've used those movies and kaija saariaho's music to get an idea about the atmosphere i wanted to create, and made the patches from that mind set.
Thanks to all that were involved in the day really enjoyed listening in and thanks to broom technicians for port switching
Here is the Epicyclus set, the first 23 mins is the blue wardrobe diy modular sequencing the orange bass synth and various vco/vcf/vca patch ups & the jupiter storm and some filtered ring mod through delay FX.
