Here's number #17, which apparently is 51/3.
I set up a guitar to play with on this one. The idea was to loop it, but at the end I broke a rule I had set up for myself that I was not going to do any guitar improv (because that's not techno ), but it was fun to play nonetheless.

...aaand after some CPR and band-aids, here's show number 20!
It's the second time Audacity has crashed on me during the set, but the first time I've managed to keep my head cool enough to not delete Audacity's temp files by restarting and clicking "yes" in the dialog that asks if you want to delete the old files :S , so that there was something to resurrect. I lost a few seconds on one of the stereo channels, I've patched it together enough so that it's only noticeable as a slight stereo glitch around the 50 minute mark, and only if you really pay attention.
Anyway, after another hectic week at work I felt like taking it a bit easy again, leaving the drums aside for the first half while I attempted to mimic some kind of 80s minimalism. Some ad lib singing and guitar playing.
Edit: I notice what sounds a bit like slight digital clipping in the second half of the recording. It's not really surprising, I've seen how the meters hit the roof on all of my Waves sets, amazed at how the limiters and compressors have saved me, but I guess I reached the limit on this one. Will try to adjust the sound down a bit for next time, which incidentally will be two weeks from now at the soonest.

Yes, and it continued recording even though the GUI froze ten minutes before I finished, so I got the whole thing. Nice to know for when this happens in the future. I probably should get a new streaming solution though...
Tricky business though: Audacity saves lots of files, each containing a six second chunk, and when recording stereo every odd numbered file is one stereo channel and every even numbered file is the other. So I had to run a script that first removed all odd files, another script that compiled those into a big file that I then imported back into Audacity, then repeat the procedure for even numbered files, resulting in two tracks in Audacity. Then, pan one hard right and the other hard left, and then find the place where some seconds where lost, nudge one channel until it was in sync with the other, and then you're done for exporting to an mp3. Whew! _________________ Antimon's Window @soundcloud@Flattrhome - you can't explain music

Show number 21, last one of the year!
Lots of buffering on my stream apparently, hopefully it will more enjoyable in this downloadable form.
I made a couple of new tricks on the G2, a random chord generator, impulses through comb filters, and something else. Otherwise prettty much business as usual.

Show number #22, first one for 2018!
My dodgy internet connection robs me of some of the excitement when doing these sets, the main idea is to connect with people in chat. I think I hit a couple of groovy sweetspots in this set, but there parts (especially in the middle) where I got stumped, not knowing what to do.
Some new G2 patches for making random chords and noise in this one.

Show numero 25. I recently acquired a Korg Monologue and put it to use here. I still have to learn more about it, but I think I got some cool sounds. Added some oohs and aahs.
Sadly, this is Antimon's last post on electro-music.com. RIP friend. You will remain an inspiration to me. _________________ --Howard
