Hi,
Lamia is an electro rock formation . They’ve just released their first album entitled …Into the Number of the Nameless Tides , and would like to be better known thanks to electro music fans.

Short account of Lamia:
After coming across 19th c. romantic poetry , composer Alain Rennes met Isabelle Refouni . They founded Lamia and started experimenting the blend of Byron , Keats , P.B. Shelley , E. Dickinson and Swinburne with different instruments before making their way through a more original electro-rock formation combining the unexpected affinities between violin , singing , electro music , bass and drums .
Put forward by some of the most moving texts of the time , the voice grants this innovative musical formula its unexpected and non conformist character. The virtual instruments implicitly complement a pervasive human presence through a surprising merging approach.
“The album has a distinctive, beautiful sound; I remember getting the same feeling when I heard Sarah McLachlan's 'Posession' and Delerium's 'Karma' for the first time.
I am overwhelmed by the beauty of this music. This is not a strictly electronic outfit and the inclusion of violin, guitar, keyboard, bass, and drums on different traks adds depth to the music. If that doesn't sound intriguing enough, the lyrics are derived from 19th centrury romantic poetry, including poems by Lord Byron, Emily Dickinson, John Keats, Percy Bysse Shelley, and Algernon Charles Swinburne.

Lamia. Good to have you here.
I listened to your On This Day song - superb. It's good to hear musicianship like this, and sensitivity. What a great idea to use such a great resource as romantic poetry. It works great with such music. Isabelle has a beautiful voice.
Thanks for posting here. It's not exactly electro-music, but it's much appreciated. _________________ --Howard

Thank you very match
you're right!
it's not "pure" electro, may be "electro-rock" or "trip-rock"
I made also music with computer, like "A match" or "the Soul".
