Wow, i'm all choked up. I met this young guy in SL and he turns out to be a Humvee driver. Well, he just got orders to ship out to Afghanistan and drive through a horribly dangerous combat zone. I tried to comfort him a bit because he's literally facing death in the eye. What could I say, what could I do? I'm saving one of the rental huts for him and i'll deck it out with nice furniture for when he gets there and can join SL again. Not much else I can do...

It's for real. The guy is actually a soldier getting shipped off to a life threatening mission. It's kind of ironic, you know.... I named the island Cherry Lane after the place where Puff the Magic Dragon lives in the song. According to the legend, Jackie Paper - Puff's companion - was actually representative of a real life childhood friend who got sent to Viet Nam and never came back. I hope that's not prophetic....

Hi,

It's so nice that you have found your way into Second Life.
If you are interested in electro-music in Second Life, IM me - Like Nightfire.

I'm in Second Life since 2006 Smile For some it might sound crazy - but for me (big electronic music lover) Second Life is the one and only place where I can meet DJs from all over the world and listen to such a range of different music styles at so many parties 24 hours / 7 days a week...

We got a big group in SL calls RAVERS ON DOPE it's an electronic music informer group, we are also creating a new sim at the moment... maybe you wanna have a look, I attach a picture if I'm able to do...

We also got a website to this group (http://www.ravers-on-dope.com), for all who are interested in DJs and clubs from Second Life... so for now, enough info about electro-music Wink you need...
