hihi

im adding an LED to each output stage from the mankato
i used a simple 547 LED driver based from CGS

im curious if adding all these LEDS will cause problems with the tracking or other components within the mankato filter/vco. if so is there a way to avoid

Hi there,

I saw pics of your design and it's fantastic. Have you encountered any issues with having the LEDs in your design? Also, I will be building a Mankato pretty quick here and I am curious what kind of response the LEDs have. Do they respond to CV? Just turn on when the filter band is active? Whatever it is, could you share the circuit design you used to add them? I would very much like to do the same.

Cheers and great work.

i used a bank of simple transistor led drivers

the leds operate when there is something coming from output of the module. if there is no input and you have your resonance full cv controls the frequency of the sine output and the rate the leds sweep and same goes if you have an input signal
