September Equinox 2018 live streaming event

I guess it's getting time to plan another event, this time to celebrate the September Equinox.

party!

The event will be on electro-music radio on Saturday September 22nd 2018.
It will probably start at 15:00 GMT and end at 00:00 GMT but we can extend the timing if there are enough people signing up.

Stream ops please respond if you're able to help switch and what time range you are available.
No really, it would be nice to have some more people to help with switching duties.

As always, if you are interested in performing, please copy/paste this Sign-Up template and post in this thread:

1. Preferred Start Time* (Please use GMT/Military Time):
2. Set Length (30 or 60 minutes):
3. Artist Name (For displaying on the poster):
4. Chat Name (if different from artist/forum name):
5. Location (City/State/Country - Optional):
6. Description (Style/Genre/Equipment, etc. - Optional):
7. Website Address:
8. Anything else you like to mention:

*a time window would also be very helpful but I will try my best to give everyone their prefered time slot.
For reference, this clock could be useful:

I will update the schedule along the way and it can be found at the wiki page for this event.

First Time Streamers Please Read:

Please review the Electro Music Copyright Policy

Please note: "Preferred Start Time". We will do the best that we can to accommodate people to their requested times. However, please be flexible because this event will have European and American musicians in many different time zones. Time slots will be on a semi-"first come-first served" basis. Furthermore, please post your time in GMT. The handy clock should make it simple. However, we do use military/24 hour time. It will undoubtedly be an international event and GMT is the only way to coordinate such events.

As in the past, the chat room will serve as an invaluable communication tool for set up, streaming, and connecting to those listening....and it's just a lot of silly fun! I suggest participants get familiar with it in advance, if you aren't already.

If you want a recording of your set, it would be prudent to record your own set, rather than depend on others. Accidents and mistakes happen...especially in this format. There are many ways to record your set, either thru the stream app or record your stream from your mixer on the signal path to the computer.

Performers MUST stream at 128 kbps, 44.1 kHz , stereo.
more info about broadcasting on radio.electro-music.com can be found here.

It is IMPERATIVE that everyone test their connections before we start streaming. At least 24 hours before but sooner is preferred. Sorry, but we can not guarantee that musicians will be allowed to stream if you do not test 24 hours before hand. Not only does it delay the schedule, but causes unneeded stress on performer, server operator, and audience during performance time. Join the chat room for testing and help setting up.

One of the ongoing themes of my electro-music life has resurfaced recently. It is the concept of wrapping wires around forms to make circuits. In this case I am in the process of designing a 3D printed ring oscillator by wrapping component leads around a plastic form.

For this performance I hope to have one or more examples ready and sounding into the microphone, plus have the 3D printer set up and running in the background. Chugga-kerchugga!

To fill up the gap in the schedule I also did a thing. The first part was live improvised and posted here.
The second part was the first hour of a set I recorded a couple weeks ago ~~but that hasn't been posted yet~~
and you can find that one here

A big thanks to everybody who participated.

I couldn't listen to this live, but I have listened to all the sets that were posted in this thread... nice stuff! Thanks!

Blue_Hell: I am continually intrigued by what can be done with WREN. Maybe one day I'll try to play with it.
