...and yet another audio/video artist...

[LSDreamer]

...maybe not quite Domenic, in fact,
I humbly admit that I am a mere freshman to the scene,
indulging myself with some very simple tools
but hoping to progress.

Name's David, living in upstate South Carolina.
Very influenced by early German experimental music.

My music, although probably not considered "music" in some circles,
basically consists of thumping out melodies on a basic MIDI,
routing them through a Delta 1010,
and tweeking them with Steinberg Cubase VST.
I openly confess that I do not have the chops to play live,
but everything I make is composed one note at a time.
(and yes, Dom, you ARE a composer !)

As for video animation,
Bryce is cheap and efficient,
a beginner's program, true, but it's effective for ambient/space/psych.
Just now breaking into 3ds max and Maya.
I merge it all in Sony's Vegas5 NLE.
True, it doesn't begin with an A, but it works.

Ok, I'll shut up about all that now.
I just wanted to say hello, and let you know
that there is another enthusiastic novice among you,
who does not care to boast or show-off,
but hopefully to learn to improve from some of you masters out there.
I cannot even try to pass off my music as second-rate art,
and I desperately need help!

That said,
thanks in advance!

I clicked on the WWW at the bottom of that posts and viewed some of the movie excerpts. Excellent. I like these. I think the music is very good and the graphics and motion are great. It reminds me a bit of the films of Wave World.

From reading your post above, I wasn't expecting very much. Seems like you are excessively modest. Great stuff...

Anyway, to electro-music.com. Very glad to have your here and I welcome your participation. You have a lot to contribute.
