Nanook ..

[blue hell]

Zappa had some Nanook text .. marching across the tundra .. mile after mile .. from which that phrase 'don't eat the yellow snow' comes.

I had no idea that there had been a documentary 'Nanook of the North' by Robert Flaherty and I have no idea if the zappa stuff comes from that ..

I read about the docu from a story where Disney had been 'feeding on the bones of Moana' .. read about that @ https://www.theguardian.com/film/2026/jun/30/the-original-moana-did-a-1926-documentary-give-birth-to-a-21st-century-disney-blockbuster

The zappa song is @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shq0PoqGp84 - the album is Apostrophe.

And the documentary is at @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkW14Lu1IBo .. it is public domain . .so here we go :

And it could use .. ow it has one .. lol .. i played it silently with a track of my own .. a music track .. I used 'I Land' : https://bluehell.nl/_streams/2009-03-01/_uploads/blue_hell/2026-04-10--Blue%20Hell--I%20Land.mp3

Anyway .. nice docu

And Moana is here - still have to watch that - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQmlJXJ5DiA - one
