zzzzzz, I love the layout of your website!
I listened to operator. The robot vocals are great.

I liked Hole even better. The chorus is excellent.

I see you're selling your cd's on cdbaby. So are we! But they won't be available for a few days.

Good luck to you!

Hi John,

I visited your link; it’s a funny site with a lot of intriguing people inside…
The music you propose is somehow reminiscent of what did “The Alan Parsons Project”; similar way of singing, tempo, acoustic, etc. But the main novelty comes from the addition of electronic effects and a rhythm that is not supposed to be rock to an expression that is supposed to be rock-oriented. Quite interesting approach.
“Under the gun” is definitely a great song. It differs from the three other pieces of the playlist in that it is less experimental and it flows better. I particularly like the ending (from 3:45 and beyond)!

Thierry.

P.S.: Thank you for your visit and the comments you posted about my site.

Really love The farmer... great inst.
Surprising Mix (guitars/jungle beats/noieses/ambience)...

Even the songs... no bad... I love all bass grooves... very distinctive... even songwriting... good...

Just one thing doesn't match my taste: the voice too much filtered in some parts... but it's my taste...

Listen Isolation.. a song of my band... it reminds a little bit your style... www.endk.com/?page_id=117

Isolation is a great song! I'm honored that you would compare it to our stuff. Thank you very much.

Isolation reminds me of the swedish band Anekdoten a little bit, but more electronic. It's a really beautiful song. Thanks a lot.

Do you sell any albums?

Hello John

I have had a listen to your music and very much enjoyed what I heard.

Traeth

As a post-script, you may enjoy an album by "Gentle Giant" called "Octopus", it was released back in the '70's and may be difficult to get hold of....but well worth a listen.

Actually, the albums by Gentle Giant have been released on cd and they are (widely?) available.

I'm very happy that you like... really.
We don't sell albums, we have no label, no contract...
Music labels absoloutely ignore our music... frustration is reaching out higher levels... MP3 on web are the only channel we can use to spread around our music... if you like our music, share it with your friends... and I will thank you very much... It's the only way... and the only thing that matters...

The farmer is on my MP3 player... and my friends start to listen it... it's a pleasure for me to spread around interesting music...

It's too bad that no labels have picked up on your music. It's really well done.

right now i'm working on a way to give out free mp3's to people on a mailing list. I haven't figured out how to do what I want to do yet, but if you would like to be on the mailing list, e-mail me at jby343@yahoo.com.

the mp3's would be by either Friend, or bands who are related to Friend. It won't all be electronic. It won't all be music. And it won't start for a while. But if you're interested e-mail me...that goes for anyone else, too.

Thank you [dK], keep us posted.
