Scam alert

[sebber]

Hi everybody,

not sure if this is the right place, however, I thought I should share this with you:

http://clasificadosphoenix.univision.com/MusicEquipForSale/ems-synthi-aks-portable-suitcase-synthesizer/31109694

Nice, no? A Synthi AKS for $ 3000.-.

However, it's a scam, as I found out:

- the price
- the pictures are from other websites
- the guy wants to use an escrow service by ZIM (which don't do that)
- the price
- the guy claims he's working as a volunteer for a charity foundation... charity exists, but not in the country he claimed to be
- he even wants to pay delivery! :-0
- the price
- and sends out letters that look exactly like this one: http://www.talkbass.com/threads/scam-or-legit.1157877/

So, just be alert, scammers are everywhere and they are good at lurking unsuspecting folks like us into their traps.

All the best
Seb
