Greetings,

After having hovered over this mighty forum several times in the past, I thought it time to get in. In a nutshell: I'm a 35-year old script-monkey (PHP) and pinned-down database herder, living in Den Haag, the Netherlands. I like red meats and lounging about, not to mention the smoking of fine *cough* pipe-weeds *cough*.

An age-long synth geek and music connoisseur (who isn't?), I play a reasonably fierce life clone (a Viscount "Oberheim" OB3#2 organ through a Tube Rotosphere), collect delays and such, corny ritmeboxen and cheap keys, all for fun & no profit. On the to-do list: really putting more effort in the Mystic Art of actually finishing tracks instead of indulging in the aforementioned lounging. Current love: a 1961-63 Philicorda 7500 with Reverbeo

My main interest here is the G2X, which I hope to purchase on credit soon. Donations to this end are greatly appreciated, but not expected.

See you around.

Hope you can have your G2 some day.

Jan.

Tnx Jan. Yes, I spotted several of the Usual 'Den Haag' Suspects. How some of them manage to actually release anything with all that time spent on forums is beyond me, must be some kind of cloning thingie.

crucified G2X... Hope Springs Eternal(tm)

welcome Forseti, glad to have you here.

I'm a PHP junkie myself. The entire site here is PHP for the most part. There are lots of new features I want to hack, but time seems to be on short supply.

Anywho, welcome aboard. It's a good group - lots of diverse stuff. Maybe I'll meet you in Den Hague, I think I'll probably be there again one of these days.

Tnx for the warm welcome mosc! A great group indeed, looking forward to contributing, maybe even some PHP (although I'm hardly an expert); who knows? BTW, that's an eclectic set of emoticons bigsmurf

Hey hey,

well I just moved out of Den Haag (Utrecht now) but a warm welcome, regardless. If there's ever going to be a new EM-NL meeting I'm sure to come!

There are other moscs too. Like the d variety. But the "a numero uno mosc" = Howard. Wink

Ha ha... Well, I have so many friends in Holland that I can't see staying away very long. As for next years NM meeting, we'll have to see if anyone volunteers to organize it. As for another electro-music event in Europe, I'm all for it, but it's a big thing to organize and almost impossible to do from this side of the pond.

I missed the first NM event, but I was told of its excellence. Hope I get my G2 in time for the next one.

Yes, I'm Howard. There is another mosc here: dmosc. His name is Daniel. Our last name is Moscovitz, hence the nickname mosc.
