Wow, it's great ot be quoted Laughing

Anyway, inaccurate terms abound in the English language, and in all other languages as well. I remember once, back in 1968, some hip cat (that was before "dudes", but after "hep") said my music was "bad". He could see immediately by my face that I was disappointed. "No, man, bad is good!" Now I understand. Bad is good. Microbeats are decibeats.

Hey, we need to take this to international relations. Let's take the Middle East.

Now it works again Razz
I was on a computer LAN yesterday and they didnt have Internet
Connection.

Anyway, a note:
I just tried to do a drumbeat that i thought could be something of "microbeat", i tried some small fast variations here and there.

By the way, I used to listen to Thunderdome CDs when I was younger,
I think those are alot more "intelligent" than usual techno stuff.
or?

Okey, yes, they have constant beat all of them, but some of
the tracks really has something special.....

://// from my point of view...

I remember One particular from "Thunderdome VI"
Title: Four Blond Nons
Artist: Ilsa Gold

Not that the whole track is the best thing ive ever heard,
but it has the variations I like Wink

Are you sure you were not Korean in your previous life? Shocked

Back to micro beats.

Back in 96/97 I used a program called "Hyperprism" By Arboretum Systems. I was using it on an old nubus Mac.

Anyway it was a (Then) stand alone program that had several cool "plug ins" with in it One of these was a Pitch Time changer.

Essentially you loaded an audio file, Then drew lines/shapes with the cursor ( via the mouse) on a X/Y axis type of affair and then used that movement to print your processed file.

On the Pitch time module you used pitch and time as the x and y axis.
Maaaaaaan I got some very nice grindy fast to super slow transitions out of that guy.
Never used it on a released track, ( well yet anyway)

Anyone here use it?

Makes me wanna go back and play with it.

changes pitch much more accurately.

Thats an cool tool anyway. but I think that RBC VT3 is
more called a Voice Harmonizer or something,
not really just pitch changer......:////

HyperPrism had som other cool functions though Razz
ive used the built-in vocoder in HyperPrism alot also Wink)

the pitch change function wasnt what made the app cool , it was the relationship tween the Ptch change and the time stretch that made it cool.
Its innaccuracies were where it was at!!!!!!!

It made mutant love, baby, mutant love.

Well.. you see this is a new plot by the evil hidden powers that rule the world. Composers and musicians are now kept inside webforums instead of in labour camps. Shocked Idea
