MPS Building Help Subject description: Several Questions |
 |
|
Hi, i am about to start building the MPS synthesizer. My PCB arrived last week and i have already bought all components
But before i start i wanted to knew about several things that are bothering me.
1. Ground, this circuit has AGnd, and DGnd. But i have some doubts with this Hook up:
J11: From the Power regultaror i built(regulated to 15v), i guess i should connect ground connector to AGnd, and where is Dgnd connected?
J20: From here, starts the cable which will connect all grounds from potentiometers and Jacks. This connection, should be Dground, Right? What about Agnd?
2. R95-R97: How should i wire them? From what i see the schematic, one side is connected to a resistor each time, and the other side is connected to gnd. What about the Center?
Thanks for your answers.
I have a hook up diagram which i am making, since i havent found one, when i finish it(with your help in these 2 doubts i have), i will be posting it.
Sorry for my English, i am from Argentina and my primary language is spanish.[/right] |

This link will take you to a list of the panel connections:

The AGnd is "Analog Ground" and the DGnd is "Digital Ground". If your system has seperate grounds for both analog and digital, then you would connect them to the seperate grounds. If your system has only one ground, then simply connect both grounds (or jumper them together) to ground. _________________ -- Kevin
