I'm a big fat paranoid schizophrenic genius creative weirdo with strange tendencies toward the obscure. How are you weird?

To paraphrase Deepak Chopra from a Zen context:

So Be."

Thus, I am.

HaHA! Thanks for pointing that out! I thought your photo looked odd! Half a beard could catch on!

Here are some 2009 snapshots of -minus... giving away his identity (and lack of maturity). Yes, I am told I am a weirdo... but it's fun dressing up like a freak and being disowned by your own children! Twisted Evil

Brilliantly, well put! Exactly! Actually - the only places that DO see my normal 'wierdness' ARE the readers of my Forum and somewhat lesser so, here. Toned down more-so (though, FAR from completely), around my GF and her friends. (Still haven't made any of my own out here, after 6 years. Oddly admittedly, still too shy after all of these years.)

So - it's mostly only myself that has to put up with my own version of 'wierdness'. Wink I AM very happy that I can easily say though that - I'm nowhere near, society's 'normal'. Razz Laughing

I like football, or as the Americans strangely call it, soccer.

Don't worry Les.... You truly are weird! I seem to be attracted to weirdo's. It's those stepping out away from the mainstream which interest me. And that's where the good ideas come from! The weirdo's! Gotta keep telling yourself: What hasn't been done yet? Well that's my opinion anyway...

I have a son called Oskar! He was somewhat embarrassed by my posting of photos... I'm slightly suspicious that the Oskar above may be him! But it could just be me being weird.... what was it Les mentioned about paranoid schizophrenia again....?

But in Norway you're a certified weirdo if you don't like soccer in an all consuming kind of way....... that and brown cheese.

Pleasantly eccentric to the left, boring normal in the center, annoyingly eccentric to the right.

So how many other Norwegians on here actually like fooy? Anyway, I suppose the weird thing is, I like football, AND "difficult" music, literature, movies, AND I vote socialist, veering towards communist if the Socialist Party can't stop pandering to the neo-conservative, so-called labour Party (Arbeiderpartiet). That combination IS weird, because most people are either elitist or populist...

I used to hang out with a bunch of people when studying - we were all control freaks, but in different ways. Some became bosses, some became successful researchers, others just suffered. For some reason most people I've met in school (from the lowest grade) have had some unique qualities - many have been brilliant. The ones I react to are those who don't seem to stand out at all, bland people. Also, I've noticed that I tend to feel better generally when working or socializing with people who are smarter than me, once I get over the initial humiliation.

I take being called a weirdo as a compliment!

I think things like "Hm, they seem to be helping that oil spill along. I think aliens are preparing Earth for their presence as it's currently inhospitable to them. They have robot minions in human form taking over corporations and government and irradiating the brains of the human masses with mass media".

I can't seem to get a hair stylist to get my hair the right kind of weird. I could use a good recommendation for that. DIY is out of the question with perms, although the bleach I can and do handle.

I actually consider all my weirdness normal and everyone else in mainstream society total freaks - and that's the pleasant, tactful version of this statement.
