Hey guys....

I'm starting to plan out my MFOS modular unit but have a question about the LFO module. The course and fine pots control the LFO rate so how do you control the LFO intensity? Do you have to put in a voltage divider yourself? Can the new MFOS Multi-Function modules be used for this (they include DC Voltage mixers)?

The mini-Synth and Ultimate have seperate controls for LFO intensity so how do you do it using the modules?

Thanks guys!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I use external attenuators on mine. You could also use a VCA, External voltage mixer or build an attenuator into yours....

On the other hand, some modules have adjustable input attenuators.

Thanks...I'm looking closely at the Multi Fuction Module since it has two voltage mixers and a cool set of LEDs.. thanks again!!

You also need to decide on your modular architecture. Will you attenuate at the output of the LFO, at the input of what you want to modulate (ie pot on CV input) or using seperate attenuators/mixers. Try to stick to one method and your system will "make sense". Unlike me!

Good point...someone on this forum recommended the Nord Modular G2 demo software to practice putting together a system and it's been very helpful. Thanks everyone....
