FS: Star Instruments Synare Tympani with Rare Extras

[daveb123]

I have a pair of Synare Tympani synth drums made by Star Instruments in the early 80s. They work perfectly and are in terrific shape. What makes these unique is that the original owner talked Star into building remote frequency Tune selectors that allow the user to set up to 6 preset base frequencies. This allows you to quickly switch to any of the preset sounds by turning one rotary switch. I'm not sure if any others were ever built, but I know there can't be more than a few out there.

What I want to sell are the 2 Tympani drums, remote boxes, cables to connect them, Synare mounts, a heavy duty Synare stand for 2 drums, copy of the original user manual, and a power supply designed by Synare but built by another electronics shop back in the day.

Pics available on request. I'd like to sell it all together, but willing to separate if necessary. Asking $475 for all plus shipping from NY, USA. PayPal, check or money order is fine.

Will ship internationally (for a small surcharge plus shipping).
