Second Life

Inventor

I've gotten hooked on this online game called Second Life. It is highly addictive and free for the most part. I am hoping to set things up so that our radio station can be played into second life 24/7, thus increasing our listenership. In Second Life you can voice chat, text chat, walk, run, fly, drive, build and so much more. Highly recommended...

I got into it quite heavily for about 4 to 6 weeks, but then stopped. (The amount of detail in the game, is gargantuan.)
Since I'm socialably, an almost complete spud (at communication), I gave up. (I still own property there, but haven't been there for a few months.)

Here's a view of the land that droffset loaned me for the Second Life electro-music radio room. The piano keys on the right actually play due to some scripting that I did and the speakers (one shown) thump in and out. Next I think I will finish up some walls and then make the keyboard into a playing keyboard staircase...

Thanks! Here is a view of the other side with the wraparound moving keyboard staircase. The avatar boxes now move about randomly every few seconds. It's a Krazy Place!

Hahahaha! That looks wild! Makes me think, I should logon (other computer) and find my coordinate. I actually bought land shortly after I'd joined, but I've not been using it at all. Still costing me $5/mo. Surprised

I should do something about that.

Here are the Avatar Boxes in the SL electro-music radio room. I extended the piano staircase to wrap around the end of the place and positioned the rotating Avatar Boxes so that they can support players who walk off the stairs onto the boxes. It's kind of carnival in nature cause you might fall through or fall off, but it's fun anyway.

I've gotten into SL again, especially since Rainshadow is spending a lot of time there. Here is a snapshot of her in her fantasy home that she bought (rented for a year). Isn't her outfit cute?

I made a sky car and took a photo of it in front of Honalee. The ellipse is a sky car garage with a secret pathway to my underground man cave.

Yeah it's been a blast. While working on a dome i came up with a concept for the company called Monolithid Domes Inc., and emailed it to them. Their prez replied saying they would talk about the idea and see if they could figure out how to make it practical. So cool on that man, you never know what might happen.

A clock I made. It spins around once every 60 seconds and rotates around the circle every 12 hours.
