Thank you to everyone on this forum. Its such an amazing site.

I want to add an external input for other synths to pass thru the soundlabs filter / amp etc...

Ive looked at the mod schematics and was wondering id Ineed to do the guitar input circit to accomplish what im trying to do.

I was wondering if going into r30 would work...i was looking at the schematics for the VCA and VCF input mods and wasnt sure if thats what I thought it was.

also cannot get a strong signal outta osc 2 when set to sine. its there just very quiet.

thank you in advance for any help...

Rico

Hello Rico,

The input to the soundlab's filter is on pin 3 of IC4
I added an external input with level control to mine as in the picture below

It works great with the levels coming out of other synths.
microphone or guitar would need to be amplified first.

(if you need the incoming signal to trigger the envelope you would need something more like the guitar input circit)

hope this helps

drew
