Free magazines - Women's Art Library

Now that the Women's Art Library/Make educational resource has officially
transferred to the Special Collections of Goldsmiths College Library,there
is a surplus of back issues of Women Artists Slide Library Journal
(1983-1990), Women's Art Magazine (1990-1996), and Make, the magazine of
women's art (1996-2002) to give away. We can send extra magazines to
distribute to readers, students and faculty. They make an excellent and
thought-provoking resource for anyone interested in contemporary art or
women's issues. For more details of content see the soon to be posted web

I can arrange for "nearly" complete sets to be posted free of charge. All
I need are addresses of schools, educational resources, art departments,
and any charities for whom these magazines would provide a valuable
reference.

I am working with a wonderful volunteer who has been storing these
magazines which otherwise will be pulped. Please send addresses and we
will see to the rest. Donations towards postage would be helpful, but not
essential. We simply want to see these publications made available for
educational use.
