I have put a new page on my website, with some mp3's for your ears, the pieces are improvised piano, which have then been treated with a little polar frosty dust. I recorded these to 2 track minidisc, then to wav then to Mp3 at 64kbs. quite low quality but they sound ok.

thats it!!!!!!!!!!!

[Editor's note: moved this topic to Online Music - more appropriate place]

Listening now to the first one. Nice stream of consciousness type of stuff. Wacky timbres...

Cool

904a is fab. I really like this.

How do you do the time quantization? Do you have a realtime quantizer or do you do post processing with a sequencer? Please don't tell me you played it like that. Rolling Eyes

I hate to say this, but you provided the same link on the other topic. You could have advertised both of the songs there because this one was already there. Confused

As for the pianos, I really like the sounds. But please compress these into one topic should you advertise several songs again. Very Happy

Abaddon is right, it's probably best to keep all your posts to Online Music in one topic. No big deal, though; don't worry about it. Unfortunately, the forum software doen't provide the facility for admins to merge topics. There is a mod I can add to do that. Maybe it's something I should look into.

I have added some improvised noise/synth tracks to my website that I completed earlier this year, very atmospheric....

I like Polite Chaos, but the spacialization in the stereo field is relatively static. Sorry, just my opinion, but I think this one is worth more time in the mixing process. Shocked

you are right, it is quite static, these were mainly synth noise improvisations as recorded, I will definately consider that for the next lot.

So many things to remember!
