I've built 2 WSGs already and have a ton of fun with them.
New roommate sees one and has to have it. However, I've never labeled mine and he's of the opinion he'd like to use the WSG as a serious instrument. A serious noise instrument, but still an instrument.
So, we need labels on the controls of the one he wants me to build.
Unfortunately, wacky, zany and weird won't due.
Do I just go with Frequency 1, 2 and 3? Volume seems obvious, as is filter. What would zaniness amount be?
I'm building the original with 6 controls and 2 switches (including the volume control and on/off switch).
Schem:

What have you labeled yours?
Thanks everyone!

Aha, a serious instrument. How about "professional", "innovative" and "dedicated"? British humor

Sorry couldn't resist - I'm sure someone has better input than me.

I don't know that these labels are exactly "correct" but this is how I did it:

I was kind of making guesses based on Ray's description of the functions of the various controls.
