And uploading from hell. But it's done...

Just a FYI for everyone. Since ElectronicScene has, at least for now, become one of the living dead (alas), I have posted tracks at other sites and even created a new one...

The abstract and ambient electronics are at a new SoundClick site called Brandy of the Damned; http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/brandyofthedamnedmusic.htm

The 'techno' tracks are mostly at Dmusic; http://michaelchocholak.dmusic.com/ along with a few simple cyclical pieces perhaps ala early Bill Nelson.

And there's a variety of flavors including ambient and smooth jazz at ic-musicmedia;
http://www.ic-musicmedia.com/artist_pages/artistpage.php?id=42429

You can actually listen to my electronic music now. What a concept, eh? Some new things here and there depending on when you last checked. It's all free. Hi & lo streams everywhere. Deep Linking at ic-musicmedia. SoundClick will want you to register if you want to download - if that bothers you, just use a dummy email address. Enjoy.
Cool

Hey thanks Howard Very Happy . Yeah, there's a lot there - not to mention the other sites, but I also like the Brandy tracks the best.

arrow BTW, ironically just as I finish this, Gideon has reopened memberships at ElectronicScene, which is very cool. Not to post tracks, but to be able to freely listen to & download anything on the site. Some excellent music there. Well worth signing up.

Hi Michael

Err... wow! Of all the music I've heard on this site, yours is the hardest for me to appreciate stylistically. It's very... alien I suppose.

Having said that I've sort of got into it a bit. To my ears, Kami Kikeibutsu, Oasis and IGTBF-128 are very similar, with their repeated bassy synths. In fact, I find it quite hard to tell them apart. I prefer Kami though, with its occasional rapid sequences of notes out of time with the main bassline, and the sudden vocal punches.

Walking Backwards is quite a remarkable track. To my un-nuanced ears the first three minutes sound fairly typical for the genre, but I just love all the bell-like stuff that kicks in after that. The sounds are sharp, clear and beautiful, hanging in the air like ghosts. You have a superb control of sound, for want of a better expression.

Err yeah, so thanks for the tracks, most interesting. Very Happy

Very Happy Hey D; well then I appreciate all the more that you obviously checked out so many of the tracks. And "alien" - some good evocations there, not the least of which is that the music is not easily catagorized.

I wrote all the techno tracks in one period covering a month or two so I definitely was in a groove. And they are all 120 bpm - which I'm very partial to. But they are all very different to my ears; Oasis & IGTBF being down and funky & tracks like Technicaro being almost insectoid. But I've experienced the same reaction to some musics, so I know the feeling.

Very cool guys. WB is one of the recent pieces I am quite pleased with. Thanks for the listen. Always more to come...
