Hey all,

So it's my first time buying components myself instead of just buying a kit and I'm hoping for a little clarification on some parts.

First off, with the CD40106, I was able to find a CD40106BE and was wondering if this is the same thing. Same thing with a LM741CN instead of LM741 and 2N3904TA instead of 2N3904. I'm assuming these are all apart of their respective families, but wasn't sure if they had any different specifications, e.g. voltage ratings.

I was also only able to find a 10M 5% 1/2 watt resistor instead of 1/4 watt at the site I'm ordering from (Mouser). Will this still work? Or can I get away with a different resistance value?

Thanks so much in advance for any help, and for at least reading.

D

I think you are good to go, D.

All of those should be fine.

Have fun - and don't forget to show it off here when you get done Smile
