Hi, waldemaR!

In June (probably 15-19) I'll be hosting a workshop ChucK in Amsterdam (NL)

This will be at STEIM ( http://www.steim.org ). Because STEIM is a very international organisation this will most likely be in English.

Get in touch if that would be of interest to you.

Sure!

As it is looking right now well be starting this on the Monday mentioned (June 15) as well as Tuesday, Wednesday and finally Friday (this is because on Thursday there will be a event at STEIM).

I still have to turn in my final description but my plan is to focus this towards a audience that has some experience with working with sound but not necessarily with (text based) programming. Overall 'd like to approach all of ChucK from a very practical and down to earth perspective; in the end it's about working with music and sound and having fun, all of the "computer science" bits are there for us, not the other way around.

As I see things one of the largest issues that people have with programming is that it looks "scary" at first and it's "hard" to get started. I'm hoping to provide some guidance and show that it can actually be fun from the beginning.

Details should be up at the STEIM website in a few days, I'll make a post here when they are.
