well... it's already surpassed my expectations. one of my musical heroes of the last 10 years or so has offered to remix my first single. i'm not going to tempt fate and name him, but he's pretty much the person that if, in my ideal fantasy world i was asked to name anyone in the world to remix this tune... i would have picked him.
plus, i'm going to have my music on vinyl.
it's sad i know, but those are pretty much 2 of my ambitions fulfilled right there _________________ there's no I in TEAM, so let's all act as individuals instead |

Aha!
Misty's Big Adventure??
That's our Gareth from Moseley
I did a whole load of recording with Gareth, mastered onto Minidisc. There was lots of good stuff in there, then my cheapo newly bought ebay MD number 2 went and destroyed it arghhh!!

Not being a mod, I might be talking out of turn, but I don't see how you, being a bona fide member of good standing, having posted many a post, both droll and earnest, could be accused of spamming just for letting us know what you're up to!?
Any road up, congratulations, and on vinyl as well, eh? Well done, Mr Pain! Or can I call you Max? _________________ Where there are too many policemen, there is no liberty. Where there are too many soldiers, there is no peace. Where there are too many lawyers, there is no justice.

Well, I'm a mod and I'd still like to know what Stanley is up to. In fact I'd like to hear this about all of the other regulars too. Maybe we should set a sort of blog/diary/news section if more people would feel that way? _________________ Kassen |

i think it'd be a great idea to have blogs for users. it'd be really interesting to see this tied in with the files they contribute...
this forum has a lot more potential for content as well as a forum. _________________ there's no I in TEAM, so let's all act as individuals instead |

i now have Keith Tenniswood (Radioactive Man [control tower], Two Lone Swordsmen [warp], The Aloof and Red Snapper) playing guitar in my live band and we have started production work together.
i have been a fan of his work for years and it's a joy to watch him work in the studio and to work with him. _________________ there's no I in TEAM, so let's all act as individuals instead |
