This is an interesting study, with results that are not surprising to me.

I'd like to see a study that determines if people who say they are lucky or unlucky really are.

One way to do this would be to have people indicate their belief about themselves and then test their luck objectively, say with Russian Roulette. It would be interesting if there were really a correlation.

OK, maybe more humanely you could have a drawing where some of the participants might win a prize chosen randomly.

Fascinating really, if the scale were great enough, but I think that, unfortunately, the results would be disappointing. I always observe, with interest, those who devise experiments to try and test the validity of ideas that espouse to there being some yet unknown method to the apparent chaos around us. It borders on the lands of superstition and pseudoscience, but the fringe is where the great dicoveries are made. Did not alchemy give way to chemisty, astrology to astronomy?
